John Yeatts, Lead Pastor

Hello and welcome to TEXOMA Bible Fellowship Church. I am John Yeatts and this is my family.

Rhonda Yeatts my wife of 29 ½ years
My Son-n-Law Payton and Daughter Ashton Yeatts VeStrand
My Oldest Daughter Aubrie Yeatts
My Son and oldest child Austin Yeatts

I came to Jesus as my personal savior in May of 1989 through a very powerful personal experience with him as my life hung in the balance between living and dying. I have served Jesus to the best of my ability in full-time ministry since then.  I have three great passions; HIM, my family, and all things outdoors especially hunting and fishing. We moved to the TEXOMA region in 2016 not realizing God would direct us to start TBFC. God put the vision in my heart in July of 2017 and by November we started with a home bible study. We moved into our current location just two short years later in 2019.

You will find our services simple but very practical. The goal is to create a place you can have an intimate worship experience with God, who loves you and gave Himself for you. A place for Biblical truth where you can learn the truths of the bible in a very applicable way for your life. A place for honest fellowship where you can be you all the time, no mask, no fear, no shame. Just you being loved for who you are and encouraged to be the best version of you there is.

Thanks for checking out our website and I hope to see you soon. We meet every Sunday morning at 11:00 AM at the Ranch 82 Event center on Highway 82 just 2 miles West of Whitesboro,  Texas.

See you soon!

Pastor John.

Our Vision

The vision of TEXOMA BIBLE FELLOWSHIP is to emulate the nature of our KING and the presence and power of HIS Kingdom in the TEXOMA region; making disciples through planting, growing and healing lives.

Mission Statement

A Non-Denominational Church surrendered to God’s PLANTING, GROWING, and HEALING lives through BIBLICAL TRUTH, INTIMATE WORSHIP, and HONEST FELLOWSHIP.

What We Believe

God is one God, and He exists forever and in three Persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God the Father is the creator and sustainer of everything. Genesis 1:26

Jesus Christ is God and is the Son of God. He is the living Word of God, and through Him all things were created—He is completely God and completely man. John 1:1

The Holy Spirit is God, and He is the Giver of life, the Teacher The Helper and the provider of power to live the Christians Life John 14:16-17 John 14:26 John 14:16, Acts 1:8

The Bible is the perfect word of God, written by God through man.

The Bible—being both the Old and New Testaments—is the only infallible Word of God. It is the single source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof, and is the all-inclusive guidebook on how to practically live a godly life.

2 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 55:11, Matthew 24:35, Joshua 1:8, Psalm 12:6

Jesus Christ's death and resurrection made salvation possible.

When Jesus died for us on the cross, He paid the penalty for all of man’s sins. Redemption is received through the personal acceptance of Christ as Savior and Lord.

Hebrews 9:12, 1 Peter 3:18, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Revelation 5:9

Salvation is a free gift.

We did nothing and could never do anything to deserve salvation. But when Jesus died on the cross, His goodness allowed us to be saved if we would have faith in Him and make Him Lord.

Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:8-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 2:2

The Christian life is one of knowing and loving Christ.

It is the combination of the new life God gives us at salvation and the truth He teaches us as we live it. The Holy Spirit guides us through various circumstances in life, always revealing to us truths about Him and ourselves in the process. Faithfulness is trusting Him through it all and learning to submit our personal desires to His perfect will.

Romans 12:12, Ephesians 4:14-16, Galatians 5:16-26, Philippians 2:12-13,

The mission of the church is to make disciples.

The Church doesn’t just exist to get people into heaven but also to train and equip them so that they are complete in Christ and able to live for Him here on Earth.

Matthew 16:18, Acts 20:28, Romans 12:4-5, Hebrews 13:17

Baptism and the Lord's Supper were instituted by Jesus.

These two practices were instituted by Jesus when He was on earth and are continued by His church to this day. Water baptism is the outward sign of the inner work God has already done in individual lives. The Lord’s Supper is done in honor and remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice until His return and is a sign of our participation in Him.

Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 2:12-13

Jesus Christ is coming back.

When He comes, all those who serve Him will reign with Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-28, John 14:3, Matthew 25:31-46, Hebrews 9:28

Marriage is sanctioned by God.

Marriage has only one meaning, which is the joining together of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant as defined in the Bible.

Genesis 2:22-24, Matthew 19:4-6, 1 Timothy 3:12, Ephesians 5:22-28

In addition to our essential beliefs, we have non-essential beliefs in which we show liberty. In all beliefs, we show charity.

Accept those whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters...Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master they stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
